PAIA annual report submission reminder

We would like to remind you that the Information Officer (IO) of every public body and the Heads of Private Bodies (HPBs) or Deputy Information Officer (DIOs) are required to submit their annual PAIA reports about requests for access to records received and processed to the Information Regulator. Click here for the communication from the Information Regulator in this regard.

This submission must be made through the designated eServices portal, which can be accessed via the Information Regulator's website or by going directly to the Regulator eServices portal, accessible here. 
 
The portal for submission of your annual report will be open from 01 April 2025 to 30 June 2025.
 
Please note that you will not be able to submit your annual report unless your IO, and/or DIO is registered with the Information Regulator. 
 
We recommend that you submit your annual report timeously to ensure compliance with PAIA.
