Natasha shares that her journey into real estate happened quite by accident. After passing matric with exemption, she was unsure about her field of study, though law had always been a consideration. "I enrolled in a Bachelor of Arts degree intending to switch once I was certain, but just before the semester began, I realized I didn't want to start university without being sure of my path," she explains.

Instead, Natasha enrolled in a secretarial college for a one-year course, where she learned typing, shorthand, bookkeeping, and other secretarial skills. After completing the course, she was hired as a junior secretary in the real estate department of a law firm, where her passion for conveyancing was sparked.

Her advice to young women-in-law, especially those working on their first transaction, is to trust their abilities and instincts. "Take it step by step, ask questions when you're unsure, and seek guidance or assistance when needed. And remember, don’t be too hard on yourself—learn and grow from challenges, even when things don't go as planned."
