CDH appoints new head of private equity

The firm’s private equity team – which cuts across all practice areas – has substantial experience in all aspects relating to fund structuring and portfolio movements for both private equity funds and strategic investment houses.

Mark’s elevation comes as part of our strategy to focus and co-ordinate our services around key sectors in South Africa and across Africa and to meet our clients’ complex and growing requirements as well as to enhance internal collaboration and ensure a seamless experience for clients.

Mark has advised on the tax aspects of some of the biggest and most prominent private equity and corporate transactions concluded in South Africa and has been at the forefront of lobbying efforts in tax legislation affecting private equity.

We are confident that Mark’s appointment will enhance our existing private equity and client service offering in the sectors in which our clients do business in South Africa and the rest of the continent.
